I got my ticket in Kansas when I was 18. I trained in a Cherokee 140 but mostly flew my parent's 152 off our grass strip. I went for 25 years without a BFR. In 2007, I got back into flying and upgraded to a 172XP (rental). I took the Challis Mountain Flying Clinic and enjoy flying Idaho's backcountry.
